Wailing at the White Whale

We lost a day ago. Now we pin our hopes to a select few in order to come out in a respectable podium finish.

It’s the third and last day of the College of Communication Intramurals 2017.

This year’s Clash of Champions was a whirlwind of sorts, I had high hopes but still, factors unseen came to pull the rug from underneath us.

Factors such as different obligations, lack of players, injuries, and a dwindling passion for being in a team certainly hit us head on.

For starters, we were all starters. All five of us who managed to haul what little enthusiasm left from ourselves after the tumultous first two games.

We were able to keep it close for the first three quarters, but younger legs prevailed.

The final score. Once again, we thought the curse of the AdPR had been broken.

Not the way we would’ve wanted to end our stint at the Intramurals, but we all know that we did our best.

It might have not been a dream finish, and the CoC intramurals will be our lasting white whale, we were still smiling after the buzzer.

Well, that’s just Team Husay, because we never lose, we learn.

The starting five, finishing five, hi-five and Voltes V.
Mico tried to catch the game. Usual Mico though. Well, he tried.
